The Lakes

The lakes (The Orchard, Tall Trees and Oaks) were re-stocked in 2013.  

They are nestled deep within the Pays de la Loire countryside, and surrounded by farmland which 
will enhance your Carp Fishing in France Holiday.  You may see wild deer, wild boar, buzzards and
kestrels, to name but a few. It's an absolutely stunning location, which seems so far removed from the
hurly burly of every day life. The surrounding fields are fertilised each Autumn with organic fertiliser
from the local dairy farm, this feeds the lakes with a rich source of nutrients for the zooplancton to
feed on, which in turn gives the carp a valuble source of natural food.

The lakes are inter-linked and share the same water supply - a small stream and underground spring.
They contain Swan Mussels and Water Cress, as well as Damselfly, Dragonfly and many others.
