Rules

Carp Fishing in France always comes with some rules. They are in place firstly to protect the carp, but also to help all anglers have a first class carp fishing in France holiday.

Management will not accept any responsibility for any accident or loss.  Any one who is in contravention of the rules may be given a warning, or asked to leave depending on the circumstances.

The Fishing

  • Maximum 3 rods per angler.

Minimum line breaking strain of between 12-15lbs.

All leads to be used on a safety clip drop-off system. No lead systems to be used where the lead drops on every fish.

No lead core or braided main line.

Min of 500mm of rig tube must be used - no leaders are allowed.

No shelf life boilies, (shelf life pop-ups allowed on the hair). No home-made bait. No bait to be air-dried prior to arrival and must arrive frozen or semi-frozen sealed in the original manufacturers packaging. No artificial bait (eg plastic corn).

42″ minimum landing nets and unhooking mats required.

No peanuts or tigernuts, or any other type of nut to be used at all.

Only Micro Barbed hooks to be used – NO BARBLESS HOOKS. Sizes 4-6-8 Micro Barbed only.

Rods are never to be left unattended.

All fish must be handled with the utmost care. They must typically only be photographed in the kneeling position just above the unhooking mat.

Fish are to be returned to the lake as soon as possible to decrease their stress level, which in turn will enhance your carp fishing in France.

Medicare kits must be carried and used on the hook holes.

General

  • All anglers are asked not to arrive prior to 13.30pm, and must vacate the fishery by 10:30am at the very latest on the day of your departure.

No camp fires or loud music on site. Alcohol is permitted, but we ask that you keep it at a sensible level.

All rubbish to be placed in bins and recycling crates supplied.

Swims are to be kept free of rubbish at all times, and absolutely no cigarette ends to be left on the ground or in the hedges. We will provide you with a lidded ashtray upon request if required.

Mobile Home

  • The oven, fridge and microwave must all be in a clean state prior to the return of your deposit.

Please report any breakages, so that we can replace them.

No contents (eg. crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment) are to be removed from the vicinity of the Mobile Home.

No pets allowed in the Mobile Home.

    No smoking.
