For our Carp Fishing in France Drive and Survive guests, there are shower and toilet facilities available, and also a fisherman’s cabin which contains a microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and charging points.
There is no need to bring water with you, as we have a tap located right next to the cabin which is fresh drinking water. It is fed directly from our house, and is perfectly safe to drink. Additionally, we can provide you with large drinking water canisters for you to use throughout the week if you wish.
If you’re not the type to tough it out in the bivvy, or have family members who would rather not, there is a 2 bedroom mobile home available for hire. We provide bed linen for 4 people, 1 double bedroom and a 2nd bedroom with 2 small singles, or can be made up as 1 larger bed.
There are a number of shops and supermarkets a short distance away. There is a small supermarket, boulangerie and bank a mere 5 minutes up the road in Javron-Les-Chapelles, and a larger supermarket 10 minutes away in Lassay-les-Châteaux which also features a rather novel outside launderette should you feel the need. In Charchigné itself (2 minutes up the road), there is a boulangerie which also stocks essentials.
