Lassay is a small vibrant market village, 10 minutes drive from L'Écurie . The village retains much of its original charm and character and is centered around the main village square where you will find small cafés, shops, a bank, and not forgetting the typically English pub, the Victor Hugo! It doesn't take anything away from the charm of the village and is a beautiful place to sit on a summers evening and soak up the ambiance over a glass of your favourite tipple.
This is a healthy hedonistic town nestling in the heart of the Normandie-Maine Regional Natural Park. Visitors will discover the lake, weeping willows, fine bridges and the race course. Bagnoles-de-l'Orne is the perfect place to relax - from thermal springs to the winding paths of the Andaine forest, there are also many small restaurants and cafés that line the lake and the main boulevard.

Here you will find the ruins of a medieval castle. The town itself was also fortified, and many of the towers still survive along with sections of the ramparts. Within the fortifications lies the old town, with narrow cobbled streets lined with half timbered houses and some grander townhouses, with plenty of cafés and open squares.
